The Bayerische Staatsbibliothek is liable for its "own contents" offered for use according to the general legal provisions in Germany (Art. 7 TMG [German Telemedia Act]). The links to the contents offered by other operators must be distinguished from these own contents. By these links the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek provides access to "foreign contents" (Art. 8 TMG).
