Historical Maps of Bavaria
The Bayerische Staatsbibliothek is the keeper of a treasure of historical maps from all over the world. Numerous map sheets document the political, economic and territorial development of Bavaria. The earliest maps date back to the 16th century, the focus of the collection being on the 19th century. The BLO publishes a selection of the most beautiful and most valuable specimens of this collection. The number of digital copies is increased continuously.
