This index follows the categorisation of the traditional shelf number system of the Bavarian State Library used from 1814 till 1936. It reflects the lineup of the book by specific topics or collection names. After 1936 a new numerus currens system was introduced. The index includes the copyright-free content of the Digital COllection until ~1907.
